Listing Alert Emails for Status Changes

Status Change notifications now alert clients when listings go from Coming Soon to Active. If your MLS has Coming Soon listings, RealScout will notify your client when a property changes status, provided both Coming Soon and Active are selected in your search. These alerts are sent based on your clients’ schedule, once the property hits the market as Coming Soon and again when it becomes Active. If the client marked the property as “INTERESTED,” they also receive a separate notification.

Q: Will my client be notified about status changes to homes I’ve sent them?

A: By default, no. Clients will only receive additional email notifications for status or price changes if they have marked a home as Interested.

Q: If I include both Coming Soon and Active statuses in my search, will my client receive two emails, one when the home is Coming Soon and another when it becomes Active? Or when a property changes from Coming Soon to Active, will my client be emailed again?


A: Yes. If both Coming Soon and Active are selected in the search criteria, the property will be sent again in a new alert once its status updates to Active. This will not happen if the client has already marked the property as Interested, since they will instead receive targeted updates about that specific home.
