Auto Nurture: How Listing Alerts Are Created Automatically

How Auto Nurture automatically creates and updates Listing Alerts for contacts based on their browsing activity — and how to customize or override them.

When Auto Nurture is enabled for your account or for individual contacts, RealScout automatically attempts to create a Home Value Alert or Listing Alert based on the data in each contact's profile. Contacts receive personalized alerts based on their activity — viewed listings, price range, and property type — and you're notified when they engage.

Auto Nurture takes the first step, then you can refine. You can always edit a contact's alert after Auto Nurture creates it — change the criteria, adjust the schedule, or take over manually at any point.

How Auto Nurture creates Listing Alerts automatically

If a contact record contains a viewed listing address or an inquired listing address, Auto Nurture creates a Listing Alert with the following search criteria:

  • Location: the listing's zip code

  • Price range: list price +20% and −30%

  • Property type: matching the viewed listing

Your contacts stay up to date on the latest listings that match their criteria without any manual setup on your end.

How alerts stay current

The search criteria used for Auto Nurture communications are dynamically updated based on contact activity and their existing alerts. These updates occur daily, ensuring that the criteria remain relevant and accurate over time. RealScout also periodically scans contact profiles to ensure timely updates and alert generation.

Auto Nurture ensures emails are sent on match days only, not every day.

Handpicked Mode

When Handpicked Mode is enabled for a contact's Listing Alert, Auto Nurture for that alert is bypassed. You retain full manual control over which listings are sent and when — a more tailored approach for contacts who need a personal touch.

Edit auto-created alerts

You can edit a contact's alert after Auto Nurture creates it. Monitor your contacts' activity and adjust alerts as needed.
