How to Enroll Lofty (Chime) Contacts into RealScout Using Zapier

RealScout has no native Lofty integration, but Zapier's pre-built template connects the two. This article covers building the Zap, enrolling selectively, what to expect after enrollment, and syncing activity back to Lofty.

Lofty (formerly Chime) is a popular real estate CRM and website platform. RealScout does not offer a native Lofty integration, but Zapier has a pre-built template that connects the two.

Build the Zap

  1. Log in to Zapier and click Create Zap.

  2. Set the Trigger app to Lofty (search for "Chime" if Lofty doesn't appear; both names are in use on Zapier).

  3. Set the trigger event to New Lead.

  4. Connect your Lofty account when prompted.

  5. Click Test Trigger to load a sample contact.

  6. Set the Action app to RealScout and the action event to Create Client.

  7. Map the fields below.

  8. Click Test Action to confirm the contact appears in RealScout, then click Publish.

Enroll selectively

Lofty generates leads from multiple sources: website registrations, PPC campaigns, social ads, and manual entry. You may not want every Lofty lead in RealScout.

  • Filter by lead source. Add a Zapier Filter step between the trigger and the RealScout action. Filter on Lead Source contains "IDX" or "Website" to limit enrollment to organic, property-focused leads.

  • Filter by tag or status. If Lofty exposes tags or lead statuses in the trigger data, filter on a specific value that indicates the lead is ready for property alerts.

What to expect after enrollment

  • The Contact arrives in RealScout in Awaiting Nurture status.

  • If Auto Nurture is enabled, the drip sequence starts automatically.

This Zap is one-directional and carries no search criteria. Zapier cannot transfer property search criteria or buyer addresses from Lofty, so manual alert assignment is required. RealScout activity does not sync back to Lofty through this Zap.

Sync RealScout activity back to Lofty

To close the loop and give Lofty visibility into RealScout engagement, create a second Zap:

  1. Trigger app RealScout, event New Client Event (add a Filter: Event Type = "Saved").

  2. Action app Lofty, event Create Note or Update Lead.

  3. Map the contact email to match the Lofty record.

  4. Include the event details (property address, date) in the note body.

This gives your Lofty CRM timeline a running record of what contacts are doing inside RealScout.
