GoHighLevel (GHL) is a widely used CRM and marketing platform in real estate. RealScout does not have a native GHL integration, but Zapier bridges the gap with a pre-built template for LeadConnector, GHL's Zapier connector.
Understand LeadConnector
LeadConnector is the Zapier-compatible interface for GoHighLevel. When you see LeadConnector in Zapier, it connects to your GHL account. All GHL sub-accounts, pipelines, and contact fields are accessible through it.
Zapier handles enrollment and basic activity logging only. It cannot add tags to RealScout Contacts, create alerts, or transfer property addresses. Plan around those limits before you build.
Workflow A: New RealScout Contact to GHL
Use this when RealScout is your lead capture layer (Search Links, widgets) and GHL is your CRM.
Trigger app RealScout, event New Client Created.
Action app LeadConnector, event Create or Update Contact.
Map the fields below, then test and publish.
GHL Field | Map From RealScout |
First Name | First Name |
Last Name | Last Name |
Phone | Primary Mobile Phone |
Source | Static: "RealScout" |
Tags | Static: "RealScout Lead" |
Workflow B: RealScout activity to GHL update
Use this when you want GHL to reflect RealScout engagement signals.
Trigger app RealScout, event New Client Event.
Filter: Event Type exactly matches "Saved".
Action app LeadConnector, event Add or Update Contact.
Map the contact email to match the existing GHL record.
Add a tag, such as "RS Saved Property".
Optionally add a note with the event details (property address, date).
Workflow C: GHL contact to RealScout
Use this when GHL is your primary lead source and you want selected contacts enrolled in RealScout. It mirrors the FUB Tag Added pattern: tag a contact in GHL to trigger RealScout enrollment.
Trigger app LeadConnector, event Contact Tag Added (for example, tag = "RealScout").
Action app RealScout, event Create Client.
Map email, name, and phone from GHL, then test and publish.
GHL-specific considerations
Pipelines: trigger RealScout enrollment when a GHL contact moves to a specific pipeline stage using the Opportunity Stage Changed trigger in LeadConnector. This is more granular than tagging.
Internal workflows: GHL has its own automation engine. Decide upfront which actions GHL workflows handle and which Zapier handles. Overlap can create duplicate contacts or conflicting updates.
Sub-accounts: if you operate under an agency GHL account, confirm which sub-account is connected in Zapier before you build. The wrong sub-account means contacts land in the wrong GHL environment.
