Auto Nurture can create Home Value Alerts in bulk for any tagged group of contacts without triggering the buyer-facing email drip sequence. This is the recommended approach when you already have a database in RealScout and want to activate seller nurture one segment at a time.
When to use this instead of an alert migration
Use this approach when all of the following are true:
The contacts you want are already in RealScout, whether imported directly or synced from a CRM
A specific group of them is tagged, for example
homebot, homeowner, orpast sellerThose contacts have property addresses in their RealScout profiles, or a primary address in Follow Up Boss
You want Home Value Alerts for that group without enrolling them in the standard buyer invite sequence
To create Home Value Alerts for your entire database rather than one tagged segment, skip the tag step and apply Auto Nurture to all contacts instead. See Auto Nurture Overview and Settings.
Set up the tagged group
Go to Automations → Auto Nurture, then click Update Settings.
Under Automation Mode, select Only apply Auto Nurture to tagged contacts.
In the Tags field, click Add or Remove Tags and search for the tag identifying your homeowner segment.
Select the tag and confirm it appears in the field.
The tag now matches both existing and newly created contacts.
Caution: tags are spelling-sensitive. A typo fails silently and no contacts are enrolled. Match the tag exactly as it appears on your contacts.
Suppress the drip campaign
Scroll to the Suppress drip campaign toggle and turn it ON.
Confirm the Skip Home Value Alerts toggle is OFF, so Home Value Alerts are still created.
Toggle Automation Status to ON at the top of the panel and save.
Auto Nurture now creates a Home Value Alert for every tagged contact who has a property address, and sends no invite or drip emails. Contacts without an address are skipped. Their first communication will be their first scheduled Home Value Alert on the standard monthly cadence.
Setting | Correct state for this workflow |
Automation Status | ON |
Automation Mode | Only apply Auto Nurture to tagged contacts |
Tags | Your homeowner segment tag |
Suppress drip campaign | ON |
Skip Home Value Alerts | OFF |
Note: Auto Nurture runs on a cycle, not instantly. Allow a few hours for alerts to appear, then check the Email Alerts tab on individual contacts to confirm.
Switch Auto Nurture to a different goal afterward
Leaving this configuration running is fine if you keep adding homeowner contacts under the same tag. Every new one gets a Home Value Alert and no drip emails.
To reuse Auto Nurture for something else, such as running the standard buyer drip for a new import, update the settings before that group is enrolled.
Go to Automations → Auto Nurture, then Update Settings.
Turn Suppress drip campaign back to OFF. Skip this and your buyer contacts will also miss the drip.
Change the tag to the buyer segment, or switch Automation Mode to apply Auto Nurture to all contacts.
Save.
Contacts who already received a Home Value Alert keep it. Changing Auto Nurture settings only affects how future contacts are processed, and existing alerts are never deleted by a configuration change.
What happens to tagged contacts who do not have a property address?
Auto Nurture does not create a Home Value Alert for them, and with Suppress drip campaign on they receive no drip emails either. They are skipped until an address is added. Once an address is present and the tag still matches, their alert is created on the next cycle. You do not need to separate your list before running this workflow.
I turned Automation Status off. Will contacts who already have Home Value Alerts keep receiving them?
Yes. Turning off Auto Nurture stops the automation enrolling new contacts, but it does not cancel or delete existing alerts. Contacts with active Home Value Alerts continue receiving them on their scheduled cadence. To stop one, delete that alert individually from Email Alerts → Home Value Alerts.
Can I remove the tag afterward without affecting the alerts already created?
Yes. Removing a tag from the Auto Nurture Tags field stops new contacts with that tag being processed, but does not affect Home Value Alerts already created. Those alerts remain active until you delete them individually.
