RealScout Agent Mobile App Overview

Download and sign in to the RealScout Agent Mobile App, then use the Live Feed, Inbox, Map Search, Contacts, and Home Value Alerts — plus what's web-only.

Install the RealScout Agent Mobile App to manage your Contacts, alerts, and messages from your phone.

Download and Install

Get the iOS and Android download links in RealScout Agent Dashboard App Links, or search for RealScout Agent Dashboard in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and install it. Once installed, open it on your phone.

  1. Enter the email address associated with your RealScout account.

  2. Enter your password and tap Login.

Prefer a passwordless login? At the top of the login screen, tap Login with Email. RealScout sends a magic link to your inbox.

Note: Open the magic link on your phone. Opening it on a desktop or laptop will not sign you in, because the link is designed to launch the app on your device.

Forgot your password? Tap Send a Password Reset Email at the bottom of the login screen.

Live Feed

After signing in, the first view is the Live Feed. This mirrors the Dashboard tab on your desktop and shows real-time contact activity: viewed homes, protected emails, and other events. Tap the gray circle in the bottom right corner to filter what appears in your feed.

Inbox

The Inbox displays your chats with contacts. To start a new conversation, enter the contact's name. To add a listing to any conversation, tap the + house icon, then enter an address or MLS number. The listing attaches to the thread and the contact is notified immediately.

Note: The Inbox shows messages from your contacts (leads) only. Reverse Prospecting messages, which come from other agents rather than your contacts, don't appear here — see What's Not Available in the App below.

Map Search

Use one finger to move the map and two fingers to zoom in or out.

To draw a custom search area:

  1. Use the draw tool to outline your target area on the map.

  2. Tap Done when finished, or tap Clear to redraw.

  3. To view results as a list, tap the icon in the top left corner.

  4. To refine results, tap the blue filter icon in the top right corner, adjust your criteria, and tap Apply Filters.

  5. When ready to save the search, tap Save, select a contact, set the alert frequency (Daily, Monthly, or As It Happens), and tap Save Search.

RealScout confirms the save on screen. Tap Done.

Contacts

Open the Contacts tab to see your full contact list. Contacts are organized by status: nurtured, awaiting nurture, or archived. A green bubble on a contact's profile indicates an active alert.

Tap any contact to view:

  • Recently viewed listings

  • Listing alerts and alert criteria

  • Home Value Alerts

  • Market Activity Alerts

To set up automatic nurturing for a contact without an alert, tap Auto Nurture directly from their profile. See Auto Nurture Overview & Settings for the full setup.

For full editing capabilities, visit your desktop at realscout.com/agent/contacts.

Adding or inviting contacts on the go: Tap the plug icon on the Contacts screen for two options:

  • Create a new contact — add someone you met at an open house, coffee shop, or anywhere else.

  • Invite contacts — share the RealScout home search app with clients. Tap the share button to send an invite via text or social media.

Home Value Alerts

From the Alerts tab, tap the option to create a new Home Value Alert. Select a contact, enter their property address, and save.

You can also:

  • Invite clients to create their own Home Value Alert directly with you.

  • Copy the link to your What's My Home Worth page to share on your social media. Clients enter their address, then sign up or sign in to RealScout with you.

What's Not Available in the App

Not available in the app: Reverse Prospecting messages and Market Activity Alerts don't appear in the RealScout Agent Mobile App. The app's Inbox shows messages from your contacts (leads) only — Reverse Prospecting messages, which come from other agents, arrive in your email inbox and on the Messages tab in your web dashboard instead. From your web dashboard's Messages tab, open a conversation and enable the Show only conversations that include clients filter to hide Reverse Prospecting messages from view. Market Activity Alerts are viewable in your web dashboard only.

Getting Help in the App

At any time, tap your profile photo icon in the top right corner of the app. From there, select Customer Support to reach the support team, or FAQs and Tutorials to browse help content.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I reply to Reverse Prospecting messages from the app?

No. The app's Inbox shows messages from your contacts (leads) only. Reverse Prospecting messages, which come from other agents, don't appear in the app — they arrive in your email inbox and on the Messages tab in your web dashboard, where you can enable the Show only conversations that include clients filter if you'd rather not see them.

Can I view Market Activity Alerts from the app?

No. Market Activity Alerts are viewable in your web dashboard only. They do not appear in the RealScout Agent Mobile App.

Why didn't the magic link sign me in?

Open the magic link on the same phone where you have the app installed. The link is designed to launch the app on your device, so opening it on a desktop or laptop will not sign you in.

Can I fully edit a contact's profile from the app?

The app shows a contact's recently viewed listings, alerts, and Auto Nurture status. For full editing capabilities, use your desktop at realscout.com/agent/contacts.

How do I filter what shows up in my Live Feed?

Tap the gray circle in the bottom right corner of the Live Feed to filter which activity appears.

Can I create a Home Value Alert from the app?

Yes. From the Alerts tab, tap the option to create a new Home Value Alert, select a contact, enter their property address, and save.
