Streak is a CRM that lives inside Gmail. This Zap posts RealScout email engagement — clicks, opens — directly to the matching Streak contact record so the activity shows up where you already manage your pipeline, with no tab-switching required.
Who this is for
Agents who use Streak as their primary CRM and want RealScout email engagement data to appear in their Streak contact timeline without manual entry. This is an outbound-data workflow: RealScout events flow into Streak, not the other way.
Build the Zap
Log in to Zapier and click Create Zap.
Set the Trigger app to RealScout, event New Email Event.
Connect your RealScout account and test the trigger.
Add a Filter step: Event Type exactly matches Clicked. Start with clicks only to keep noise low — opens fire on every open and can flood a contact's comment thread.
Add a Search step: Streak → Find Box. Search by the RealScout client email to locate the correct Streak contact record. This step returns the Streak Box ID needed for the next action.
Add a Filter step after Find Box: only continue if a Box was found. This prevents errors when the Contact does not yet exist in Streak.
Set the Action app to Streak, event Create Comment.
Map the fields: Box (Contact) → Box ID from the Find Box step; Comment Text → compose a message such as "RealScout: Email [Event Type] — [Alert Type] — [Date]".
Test the action to confirm the comment appears on the correct Streak Box.
Click Publish.
The Find Box step is required — not optional. Streak organizes contacts as "Boxes" inside pipelines. The Create Comment action needs the Box ID, not just an email address. Without the Find Box search step, the Zap has no way to locate the correct record and will error. Always include Find Box between the trigger and Create Comment.
Tips for this workflow
Start with Clicked events only. Email open events fire repeatedly for every open, which can flood a Streak contact's comment thread with dozens of entries per week. Clicks signal intent and generate far less noise.
Streak's Zapier integration requires a paid Streak plan. Check Streak's current pricing for Zapier access before building. The Zap will not authenticate if your Streak plan does not include Zapier.
Enrolling new Contacts in Streak (separate Zap): If you also want new RealScout Contacts to appear in Streak, create a separate Zap — RealScout New Client Created → Streak Create Box. There is no pre-built template for this direction; it requires manual field mapping. Test the trigger first to confirm which fields RealScout exposes.
Creating RealScout Contacts from Streak: Not available as a pre-built template. You would use a Streak trigger such as New Box Created connected to a RealScout Create Client action, with manual field mapping.
