Listing Alert Roll-Up

Listing Alert Roll-Up groups a contact's listing alert matches into one scheduled email instead of one per search, lowering email volume and protecting deliverability.

When a contact has more than one listing alert, roll-up sends one combined digest instead of an email per search.

What it does

Without roll-up, a contact with several saved searches could receive a separate email for each one. Listing Alert Roll-Up combines a contact's matching listings across their saved searches into a single digest, grouped by saved search, so the contact gets one email instead of one per search. The subject line leads with one listing and the total number of additional matches, for example "A San Francisco listing at $799K and 97 more listings."

Roll-up is built into how RealScout sends listing alerts. It runs automatically and is not a setting you configure in your account.

Listing alerts only. Roll-up does not apply to Market Activity Alerts or Home Value Alerts. If a contact is set up on a Market Activity Alert or a Home Value Alert alongside a listing alert, those alerts send separately and are not included in the listing alert digest.

Why it matters

Fewer separate emails to one inbox lowers the chance of a bounce or a rejection and protects your sending reputation. Roll-up is part of RealScout's email sendability work that keeps your alerts landing in the inbox.

What you still control

You set each alert's schedule and criteria. A few habits keep the digest clean:

  • Review a contact's active listing alerts on their Email Alerts page

  • Keep a contact's searches on consistent schedules so updates arrive together

  • Remove duplicate or overlapping searches that cover the same area and price range

Note: Roll-up changes how listing alert emails are grouped, not which listings match. Each saved search's criteria still control what the contact sees.
