Understanding Hand-Picked Alert Delivery
When an agent sends a hand-picked alert with a personalized message to a client, RealScout does not automatically send copies to the agent or other team members. This is intentional: hand-picked alerts function similarly to direct messages (DMs) and are only sent to the intended recipients.
Additionally, messages sent to clients through RealScout are delivered via email to the client’s inbox and as push notifications if the client has the RealScout mobile app installed.
What Email Notifications You DO Receive Copies Of
Automatic alerts - Daily, weekly, or ASAP scheduled alerts that have been set up for clients
Emails to secondary/tertiary contacts - If your staff account is listed as an additional contact on a client's profile
What Email Notifications You DON'T Receive Copies Of
Hand-picked listings - Properties manually selected and sent with personalized messages
One-time personalized alerts - Individual property recommendations sent directly to clients
How to Track Hand-Picked Messages Sent by Your Team If you need to monitor what hand-picked alerts have been sent to specific clients, follow these steps: Method 1: View in Email Activity Tab
Open the client's profile in RealScout
Navigate to the Email Activity tab

Method 2: Share Message URLs for Team Coordination If you need to stay informed about what team members are sending to clients:
Go to the Email Activity tab after sending hand-picked alerts
Right-click and open the recently-sent message
Copy the URL from your browser's address bar
Email the URL to your team member(s) for their records Example URL format: https://yourteam.realscout.com/agent/users/[USER_ID]/homebuyer_actions/[ACTION_ID] Optional: Print the message as a PDF for a durable record if needed.
Additional Notes on Logging Sent Listings
When you send listings to a contact in RealScout, the activity is logged exclusively under the client’s profile in the Email Activity tab. It will not appear in the Messages folder or the Recent Activity section. This ensures that all email-related activities are consolidated in one place for easy tracking.
Clarification on Message Logging
Messages sent to clients through the RealScout messenger do not appear in the client’s Email Activity tab. This distinction helps separate direct messages from email activity logs.
What if I Still Need Copies of Some Hand-picked Alerts?
You can add your email as an additional email, though using the RealScout app or your Contact's Email Activity page are also options..
