Archiving contacts in RealScout keeps your Nurtured Contact list tidy and helps you stay within your active contact limit. Archived contacts are removed from active nurturing but their records and activity history are preserved so you can restore them at any time. Unarchiving brings a contact back to your active list, but it does not automatically turn their alerts or Auto Nurture back on. You re-enable those yourself.
Archive vs. Delete. Archiving is reversible — the contact record is fully preserved and can be restored with one click. Deleting is permanent and blocks re-import of the same contact via CSV until the record is first restored by Member Support. When in doubt, archive.
Archive Contacts
Go to Contacts in the left navigation bar.
On the Nurtured tab, use the checkboxes to select one or more contacts you want to remove from active nurturing.
Click More Actions in the upper-right corner.
Select Archive Contacts (#). The selected contacts are moved to your Archive tab and no longer count toward your active nurtured contact total.
Unarchive Contacts
Go to Contacts and select the Archived tab.
Locate the contact you want to restore and click their name to open the record.
Click the blue Unarchive button. The contact returns to your active contact list. Unarchiving does not automatically turn alerts or notifications back on. Any Listing Alerts, Market Activity Alerts, Home Value Alerts, or Auto Nurture that were disabled or off before archiving stay off, so re-enable them manually if you want them running again.
Note. Unarchiving restores the contact, not their alert settings. RealScout does not re-enable alerts or Auto Nurture that were turned off. Open the contact's Email Alerts and re-enable any Listing Alert, Market Activity Alert, Home Value Alert, or Auto Nurture that you want active.
Restore a Deleted Contact
Deletion is permanent. Deleted contacts are not visible in the standard Contacts view and cannot be re-imported via CSV until the record is restored. Contact Member Support at support@realscout.com with the contact's name and email address to request a restore.
Once restored, the contact will appear in your account and can be re-imported or set up with alerts again.
