Compare 3 Listings Side by Side
Summary
RealScout lets clients compare up to three properties at once using a side-by-side view accessible from the property details page. The comparison displays photos, pricing, and key listing details in a structured column layout, one property per column.
How It Works
The comparison view pulls data from each selected listing and displays it in columns. Clients can select listings from their Interested, Matched, or Viewed listings. The view organizes content from top to bottom: summary details first, then room-by-room photos with tagged features, and finally a map view of each property's location.
Maximum of three listings can be compared at one time.
Listings must appear in the client's Interested, Matched, or Viewed listings to be available for selection.
Each column corresponds to one property throughout the entire view.

What You Will See in the Comparison View

Top of the page (summary row)
Price

Cover photo for each property
Address and square footage
Description teaser
Middle of the page (room-by-room photos)
Photos for each room are displayed across the row, one column per property
Underneath each photo, you will see the features tagged to that specific photo
Bottom of the page (location and actions)
Map showing the location of each home

Common Questions and Edge Cases
Can I compare more than three properties at once?
No. The comparison tool supports a maximum of three properties at one time. To swap in a different property, remove one of the current selections and add another.
Where do the listings I can select come from?
You can only select from listings already in your Interested, Matched, or Viewed listings. Properties not in those categories will not appear in the selection panel.
What does it mean if a photo row is blank for one property?
If a listing does not have a photo for a particular room, that cell in the row will be empty. This reflects missing data in the listing record, not a RealScout error.
Can I view the full listing from the comparison view?
Yes. At the bottom of the comparison page, there is an option to open the full listing for each property.
