How to Navigate Your Client Experience

Now that you and your agent are connected on RealScout, your RealScout account gives you a space to view listings in map or list view, click on the More Filter button to add search criteria as you search, and the essential pricing filters, too. You'll be able to compare homes side by side, and message your agent directly through the built-in, collapsible messenger.

Using the top navigation bar, you'll also be able to view and edit your saved listing alerts, access your home search tools, activity history, and much more, all in one place.


Let's go over the account together!


Top of Page


At the top of your account page, on the left side, you will see your agent's brokerage logo and a search bar to explore active listings in your local market. On the right side, you will see tabs and settings icons. Once you click any of those top tabs, a drop-down menu will expand.

Search


The Search tab on the top navigation bar includes:

  1. Search

    1. Search Listings - Search active listings in your local market.

    2. Search Exclusives - Search exclusive listings (if applicable; not available in all accounts).

  2. My Searches - These are listing alerts that you or your agent have created and saved. Click to open and edit as necessary.

  3. My Activty

    1. Interested - Listings (properties) you marked as "Interested" to recieve additional price/status change alerts for.

    2. Not Interested - Listings (properties) you marked as "Not Interested." This helps your agent know which to skip. You may still see the listings if they match your search results, but they'll be marked as not interested.

    3. Recently Viewed - Listings (properties) you click on to view details for.

Home Value

The Home Value tab in the top navigation bar shows your saved home address(es) and an on-demand value report.

To add a home, click the What's My Home Worth icon and follow the prompts. Your agent will be notified automatically and can share their professional opinion.


Market Research


The Market Research tab in the top navigation bar shows the market reports you follow. The dropdown menu will show the custom names for those Market Activity Alerts.

Exclusives

The Exclusives tab in the top navigation bar shows the off-market properties that your agent's office may be able to display and share with you.

Note: This may not be displayed on all accounts. Exclusive listings will ONLY appear here if applicable to the agent and their offices' availability.

Your Messages & Profile Settings


In your Profile Settings, you'll have access to view and edit the following:

  1. Email Settings

  2. My Profile

  3. Log Out

Your Message history with your agent is easily accessed here.

Contact ​Your Agent

At the bottom right of your RealScout account, you will see a blue Contact Me button that lets you easily message your agent, similar to the messages icon at the top of the page.

You can collapse this view at any time because it remains at the top of the map, and you can reopen it at any time.


View a Listing (Property)

When you click on a listing, the property detail page will open. This is a space to click what you like about the property, and it will be shared with your agent. The more you interact, the more your agent will learn about your home style.

You'll be able to request a showing with your agent or message them directly on RealScout.

Compare

Compare just got better! On RealScout's Property Detail Pages, you have easy access to the Compare feature, share what characteristics you like about the property, view your daily commutes, and contact your agent. These interactive features help you and your agent learn more about what you are searching for in a home.
