The rechat. + RealScout integration automatically syncs client contacts between both platforms — new contacts added in rechat. appear in RealScout, contact profile updates in rechat. are reflected in RealScout, and new contacts created directly in RealScout flow back to rechat. Contacts imported into RealScout from CSV or other integrations are excluded from the sync.
How It Works
Contact data flows in both directions, with different rules for each direction.

Contact deletion: When a contact is deleted in rechat., that contact is also automatically deleted in RealScout. This action is permanent — if you unintentionally deleted a contact, reach out via the messenger in your RealScout account.
Connecting rechat. to RealScout
Step 1: Click Connect Rechat Account in your RealScout Integrations settings.
This opens the rechat. login page:
Step 2: Sign in to rechat. and grant access permissions for RealScout to connect to your account.
Note: If you have multiple accounts in rechat., select your active account. RealScout only supports a single rechat. account connection at a time.
Once permissions are approved, your rechat. and RealScout accounts are connected and syncing.
Removing or Replacing the Integration
To disconnect the integration, click the red Delete Integration button in your Integrations settings. This removes the current rechat. connection and allows you to link a different rechat. account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need my team owner or admin to connect rechat.?
No. The rechat. integration is connected at the agent level. Each agent connects their own rechat. account independently — no admin or team owner action required.
Can I connect multiple rechat. accounts?
No. RealScout supports one rechat. account connection at a time. To switch accounts, click Delete Integration in your Integrations settings and reconnect with the new account.
Will RealScout sync all existing contacts into rechat.?
No. Only contacts created directly in RealScout — via self-serve sign-up or manually added by the agent — sync to rechat. Contacts imported into RealScout from CSV files or other integrations are not synced to rechat.
Does RealScout sync contact profile updates back to rechat.?
Not currently. The RealScout → rechat. sync applies to newly created contacts only. Contact profile updates made in RealScout are not pushed back to rechat. Updates made in rechat., however, do sync to RealScout.
What happens if I delete a contact in rechat.?
Deleting a contact in rechat. also deletes that contact in RealScout. This action is permanent. If you unintentionally deleted a contact, reach out to RealScout support via the messenger in your account at support@realscout.com.
