Set Up Seller Nurture for One Contact

Create a Home Value Alert for a known homeowner or deploy your public seller entry point. Covers both setup paths and when to pair with a Market Activity Alert.

Two options for seller nurture: create a Home Value Alert for a contact you already know, or deploy your public "What's My Home Worth?" link to capture new seller leads. Both take under five minutes.

Option A: Create a Home Value Alert for an existing contact

Use this when you have a homeowner contact with a confirmed address on their profile.

  1. Search for the contact by name or enter the property address directly

  2. Review the generated value estimate and comparable properties

  3. Confirm the alert and set the cadence (default is monthly)

  4. Open the contact's profile and confirm the alert is active on the Email Alerts tab

Note: A confirmed home address is required. If the address is missing, use Contact Enrichment first or ask the contact directly. You can also use the Quick Create method: on the Home Value Alerts dashboard, any contact with an address but no existing alert will show a one-click Quick Create option.

Option B: Deploy your public "What's My Home Worth?" link

Use this to capture net-new seller leads who are not yet in your database. Anyone who enters their address through your public link is added to your RealScout account as a new Nurtured contact.

  1. Locate the Capture Leads section

  2. Copy your "What's My Home Worth?" URL

  3. Add it to your email signature, post it in a Story, or text it to five sphere homeowners

This link is permanent. You do not need to recreate it. Copy it once, save it, and reuse it everywhere.

When to pair a Home Value Alert with a Market Activity Alert

Situation

Use this

Known homeowner with a confirmed address

Home Value Alert

Contact where ownership is unknown

Market Activity Alert

Known homeowner who already has an HVA

Market Activity Alert as a complement

A homeowner can receive both. The Home Value Alert shows what their specific property is worth. The Market Activity Alert shows what is happening in their neighborhood. Together they give the homeowner two monthly touchpoints with your name on them.
