Who This Is For

Agents with access to Exclusives in RealScout and who want to save a filtered exclusive listing search to a client alert or a reusable search template.

When to Use This

Use this workflow when you:

  • Want to monitor exclusive listings that match a specific buyer's criteria

  • Need to create a reusable search template for a common buyer profile

  • Are filtering Exclusives by status, price, beds, baths, location, or other criteria and want to preserve those filters

How It Works

The Exclusives section in RealScout displays off-market and exclusive listings shared within your network. You can apply the same search filters available in standard listing alerts and then save the resulting search in one of two ways:

  • Save to Client: Attaches the search to a specific contact as an alert

  • Save as Template: Stores the search criteria for reuse across multiple clients in the future

Note: The Exclusives map displays a maximum of 100 listings at a time.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Accessing Exclusives and Applying Filters

  1. Log in to your RealScout dashboard.

  2. Click Exclusives in the left navigation.

  3. Review the map display to preview all/most of your Office Exclusives. Note that a maximum of 100 exclusive listings will appear at one time.

  4. Optional: Adjust the time range filter (default is Past Month) to widen or narrow results.

  5. Click Search Exclusives to open the filter panel.

  6. Apply any combination of the following filters as needed:

    • Property Status & Type

    • Price, Beds, Baths, & Sqft

    • School & Location Boundaries

    • Excluded School & Location Boundaries

    • Open Houses & Photos

    • Public Remarks (keyword matching; requires the listing to have remarks)

  7. Click Save Search once your filters are set.

Option A: Save to a Client

  1. After clicking Save Search, select Save to Client.

  2. Choose the client you want to attach this search to.

  3. Click Save to Client to confirm.

The search will be saved as an alert for that client.

Option B: Save as a Template

  1. After clicking Save Search, select Save as Template.

  2. When prompted, enter a name for the template.

  3. Click Create Template.

  4. Click Done to finish.

The saved template can be reused when setting up alerts for future clients.

Common Questions and Edge Cases

Can I save an Exclusives search the same way I save a standard listing alert?
Yes. The Save Search steps for Exclusives uses the same save options as standard searches: Save to Client or Save as Template.

What is the difference between Save to Client and Save as Template?
Saving to a client creates an alert tied to that specific contact. Saving as a template stores the criteria only, with no client attached, so you can apply it to multiple leads later.

Why am I only seeing 100 listings on the map?
The Exclusives map has a hard limit of 100 listings displayed at one time. Applying more specific filters will help surface the most relevant results within that limit.

Can I exclude a location from an Exclusives search?
Yes. Use the Excluded School & Location Boundaries filter to remove specific areas from your results.

Why don't Coming Soon or Off-Market listings appear in Exclusives?
Exclusives are limited to listings shared within your Exclusives feed, so results may differ from a standard MLS search, Exclusives search, or similar search on another search portal.
