Overview
If your MLS or board uses DocuSign to approve access, RealScout's MLS Approvals team handles most of the process automatically. Here's what to expect so you're not left wondering what happens next.
How the Signing Process Works
MLS agreements follow a predefined signing order:
Your broker receives and signs the agreement first
Once your broker has signed, you'll receive a notification to complete your portion
You don't need to chase anyone down, the system keeps things moving in the correct order. Our MLS Approvals team will reach out directly with updates and confirmed approval for your MLS data activating in your RealScout account.
Do I Need to Send the Agreement to My Broker?
No. RealScout automatically delivers the agreement to your broker's email address. They'll receive a notification prompting them to sign electronically.
Are There Any Exceptions?
Yes. Not all MLS forms can be completed through DocuSign.
(Subscriber Agreement Form): This form must be completed and signed directly in an MLS's own system. DocuSign is not accepted for this specific type of form. Our MLS Approvals team will confirm next steps for you if this applies to your MLS.
