On the My Account Settings section, the option for Suppress Open House info for all my clients will suppress Open House emails on 'interested' homes to your clients. This setting will also hide the date and time of any Open House available. Your client will be able to request Open House information from you, and you will be notified of the request.
To allow clients to view open house information directly in their listing alerts, follow these steps:
Sign in to your RealScout account.
Click your profile photo in the top corner to open the menu.
Select Settings.
Locate the option labeled Suppress open house info for all my clients.
Toggle this setting Off. Once disabled, open house details will automatically appear in your clients’ alerts.
Once the 'Suppress open house info for all my clients' setting is disabled, open house details will automatically appear in your clients’ alerts, keeping them informed about upcoming events and opportunities.
Overview of Open House Features in RealScout
RealScout allows users to:
Create and share Quick Share Links for open house searches.
Set up alerts to notify clients about open houses in their area. These features are designed to streamline the process of sharing open house information and keeping clients informed.
When creating an alert before saving it, you'll be asked to set an Alert Schedule. There is a Setting section to check the option send Open House reminders or keep unchecked to stop Open House reminders before each weekend. By default it is unchecked.
To enable open house alerts for a client’s search:
Open the client’s search and edit the alert settings.
Locate the alert schedule settings and find the option for Open House reminders.
Check or enable the Open House reminders option to start sending notifications.
Note that this option is off by default and must be enabled manually.
To stop these reminders later, return to the alert schedule settings and uncheck the Open House reminders option.
Agents do not automatically receive Open House reminder emails sent to clients. To receive the same notifications, you can replicate the client’s search settings in your own account:
Duplicate the client’s search in your RealScout account.
Enable the Open House filter or setting for the duplicated search.
You can also customize alerts to better suit your client’s preferences, ensuring they receive the most relevant notifications.
Regularly review your notification settings to ensure they align with your clients’ needs.
Use the duplication feature to stay informed about the same listings and events as your clients.
