Managing Welcome Emails and Other Client Communications in RealScout
RealScout provides several options for sending welcome emails and communicating with your contacts. This guide explains how to manage default welcome messages, manually send or resend welcome emails, as well as use alternative messaging options.

When you add new contacts in RealScout and are not using Auto Nurture, you can choose to send them a welcome email. It's also a way to reintroduce yourself if you haven't heard from them in some time.
Default Welcome Message:
This is not sent automatically upon contact creation.
You must manually send the Default Welcome Message from the Contacts page using the Actions button:
Automated Welcome Email via Auto Nurture:
If a contact is enrolled in an Auto Nurture campaign, that Welcome Email will be sent on day 1 of the email sequence sent automatically. Learn more here.
No additional manual action is required for contacts in Auto-Nurture.

To send a welcome email manually:
Navigate to the Client Details section within the contact's profile.
Select the option to Send Welcome Email.
Customize the email content as needed before sending it to the client.
This gives you flexibility to personalize each message to the recipient.

If you need to resend a Welcome Email:
Open the contact’s profile in RealScout.
Go to the Actions button to resend
This will send them a welcome message inviting them to set up RealScout with you, even if they have an alert they have not opened recently.
This process is useful if the client did not receive the email initially or you think they'll create a new search with an invite.

If you want to communicate with contacts without sending a Welcome Email, RealScout offers in-app messaging. This allows you to send messages that appear as emails to the recipient but bypass the Welcome Email workflow. To send a non-welcome email-style message:
Open the desired contact’s profile (or select multiple contacts).
Compose a new message directly in the RealScout app.
Customize the message content and send it, e.g., to offer additional search features or personalized services.
Contacts will receive this message as an email and can respond within RealScout.
This approach is suitable for reaching out to active search contacts without duplicating the welcome email process.
