Text Message Notifications

RealScout provides text alerts for instant client messages, helping you stay responsive on the go. We also recommend downloading the RealScout Agent App to manage conversations and client activity from your phone.

Text notifications are sent only when a client sends you a message on RealScout. They are not triggered by other activities, such as likes or non-message interactions, ensuring that notifications are reserved for critical communications.


How to set up RealScout Text Notifications:

  1. Click on my account in the top corner of your account.

  2. Then click Notification Settings from the drop-down.

  3. Here, you'll see the Text Notifications section.

  4. Add your phone number and verify it.

  5. You'll receive a text with a code to enter and verify it.

  6. Lastly, enable the toggle for “Text me when any client sends me a message.” 7. If you are not receiving notifications, ensure you have completed the SMS opt-in process and verify your phone number in the Notification Settings. If your phone number is not verified, update or re-verify it by selecting the 'Update Number' option and following the instructions.

Troubleshooting Notification Issues

If you are still not receiving text notifications after completing the setup process, follow these steps:

  1. Double-check that the toggle for "Text me when any client sends me a message" is enabled in Notification Settings.

  2. Ensure your phone number is correctly entered and verified.

  3. Contact RealScout support for further assistance if the issue persists.
