Automated Matching
When a contact has an existing MLS-based listing alert, the RealScout system keeps tracks of their search behavior and creates a set of “simplified criteria” (only price and location). You can see this on their contact record at the bottom of the “Email Alerts” tab:
When a newly-listed Exclusive Listing matches their simplified criteria, the system automatically sends them an alert, as such:
- RealScout analyzes the contact’s search history
- A set of simplified criteria is determined
- When an exclusive listing matches their simplified criteria, the system will:
- Automatically send an email alert
- Prompt them to see all available Exclusives
- Keep track of their feedback and preferences
Note: Automated matching requires no manual setup and is enabled by default, but it can be disabled under the Email Alerts tab in the contact record. See this article for instructions.
Manually Share a Single Listing
You can send a single listing to one or more contacts manually.
- From the dashboard widget on the right-hand side of your Agent Dashboard, click on an Exclusive Listing
- On the Listing Detail Page, click "Share with Clients"
- Select clients from your database
- Add a personalized message (optional)
Create a Listing Alert
You can create an ongoing Listing Alert for a contact. You may want to do this if you’d like to send them Exclusive listings that are not in the area(s) covered by their simplified criteria that the Automated Matching uses to send listings automatically.
On the search page, be sure you are searching the Exclusives data - if not, click “Change Listing Service or Property Class” link to switch.
Create the listing alert using the filters provided, and when you’re happy with the results, click “Save Search / Template” to save the changes to the contact’s account.
