What type of Logo file is supported?

Here are the optimal specs for your logo to look great on our site, and where to upload it.

Your logo appears on the listing alerts, search links, and client-facing pages your contacts see, so the file you upload matters. Here are the optimal specs for your logo to look great on our site:

  • High-resolution image (at least 300 dpi)

  • Horizontal orientation (landscape) with a 4:1 size ratio (for example, 400 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall)

  • A white or transparent background

  • PNG format is best

Below is an example of a logo that is 400 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall.

Where to upload your logo

Upload your logo from your RealScout Account Profile. A logo that follows the specs above, like the Acme Real Estate example shown here, displays cleanly across your branded pages.

Frequently asked questions

What logo file format works best in RealScout?
PNG is the best format for a RealScout logo because it supports a transparent background and stays sharp at high resolution. Upload a high-resolution PNG (at least 300 dpi) with a white or transparent background for the cleanest result.

What size and shape should my logo be?
Use a horizontal (landscape) logo with a 4:1 width-to-height ratio, for example 400 pixels wide by 100 pixels tall. A wide, landscape logo fits the space RealScout reserves for it on your client-facing pages without stretching or getting cut off.

My logo looks blurry or has a colored box around it. How do I fix it?
A blurry logo usually means the file is too low-resolution: upload a version that is at least 300 dpi. A colored box around the logo usually means the background is not transparent: export the logo as a PNG with a white or transparent background, then re-upload it from your RealScout Account Profile.
