Using Squarespace? Below are tips on what to copy from RealScout over to Squarespace, no matter which Widget you chose! At any time, please refer to this Squarespace support article to learn more about the several other ways to use their Code Injection features: https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/205815908-Using-Code-Injection!
Head over to the left navigation bar and click on Extras. Next, click on Widgets.
Choose from the following Website Widgets for your site: Simple Search, Advanced Search, Your Listings, Office Listing, and Home Value.
In Step 1, you'll have customization options. Next, copy both code snippets from Steps 2 & 3 to go onto Squarespace.
Squarespace uses a single Code Block within the visual editor. Paste both code snippets from Steps 2 & 3 into that one block, even if RealScout’s instructions show two separate steps (including a <head> section); there is no need to separate them. This ensures your widget displays and functions correctly.
Pro Tip:
While you’re setting up the widget in your block, Squarespace prevents external previews from displaying, so the widget may appear blank in edit mode. Save, then preview the page to confirm it's working as expected.
