The Manager Templates feature simplifies alert creation for your agents. Managers can create Listing Alert Templates and Market Alert Templates, apply tags to them, and share them with their agents. This powerful tool ensures agents automatically receive alerts for their tagged contacts, saving time and keeping everyone organized.
Note: Manager Templates is a managed feature available on team and brokerage (enterprise) accounts, where a Manager oversees agents on the same account. It is not available on solo Individual Agent accounts.
Note: By default, the shared templates are not enabled. Agents can enable these manager-shared templates on their accounts to automatically generate alerts for their tagged contacts.
How Your Agents Can Enable Manager Templates
To activate tag automation for Manager Templates:
Go to the Templates page.
Click the Enable Toggle to activate the feature (this enables it for both the Listing and Market Alert Templates).
How Manager-Shared Templates Work
Once the Listing Alert or Market Alert Template has been created by a manager, with tags, to share it with all agents:
Tags: Ensure the shared template has a Tag(s).
Manual Sharing: On the Templates page, locate My Templates. This is the list of all templates you have created. Click on the ellipsis (three-dot icon), and click Share.
Review Warning Pop-Up: Click on Share Template to complete.
Identifying Shared Templates: On the My Templates tab, locate the Shared column. The green bubble means you have shared the template with all of your agents.
When agents enable this feature:
Automatic Activation: Manager-created templates are applied automatically. The system instantly generates alerts for all contacts with tags matching the shared templates.
This applies to both Listing Alerts Templates and Market Alerts Templates.
Manager Identification: Agents will see the name of the manager who shared the template.

Does my account have access to Manager Templates?
Manager Templates is a managed feature available only on team and brokerage (enterprise) accounts where a Manager oversees agents. It is not available on solo Individual Agent accounts. If you don't see the Templates or sharing options described in this article, confirm your account type with RealScout Support.
Can the agent edit the template created by the manager?
No. Only the manager can edit the tags, stop sharing, or delete.
Why Can't My Agent Use the Manager-Shared Template From Another MLS?
For agents across your team/office to use a manager-shared templates, both the manager and agent must be associated with the same MLS, in RealScout. Only then can the templates be assigned to contacts using tags.
