How to Resend Listings

Step-by-step guide to resend property listings to clients, including alternative methods for Market and Home Value alerts.

Here’s a quick guide to help you resend listings that have already been sent to a client:

This is particularly useful when email delivery issues occur, such as when emails are flagged as spam or bounce back.

Troubleshooting Email Delivery Issues

Before resending listings, it’s important to ensure that email delivery issues are resolved. This includes identifying the cause of the issue, such as spam or bounce flags, and verifying the client’s email address for accuracy. If emails continue to bounce, check for domain-specific issues or contact RealScout support for further assistance.

1. Go to the Contacts tab or use the Search Contact/Listings bar to find and select your client’s name.

2. Click on Listing Alert (View/Edit) to open the search results.

3. Click on the section to see the listings you’ve previously sent (or are queued)

4. Select All or check the boxes next to the specific properties you want to resend.

5. Click the Send button.

6. Add a custom message if you’d like, then send the email.

Alternative Methods for Resending Alerts

  • Market or Home Value Alerts: Use the "Send Now" function available when opening the alert. You'll see the next send date so you can determine if it's a good time to resend.

  • After correcting an email address: Follow these steps to resend alerts to the corrected address:

    1. Open the contact’s profile and navigate to the Email Alerts tab.

    2. Locate the specific Listing Alert that was sent to the incorrect address.

    3. In the Sent section, select all listings that were previously sent.

    4. Click the share icon and choose Send via Email.

    5. Add an optional custom message if needed, and send the alert..

After those steps, you'll notice in your clients Recent Activity tab that this email alert has been delivered and when opened. Additionally, if emails were flagged as spam or bounced, ensure consent is obtained and the email address is unblocked before resending.

To resolve these issues, check for spam or bounce flags in the email delivery system and clear them if necessary. Ensure the email address is accurate and free of typos before resending. Additionally, if the bounce was tied to the old, misspelled address, resending via the corrected email should succeed.
