Enterprise plan members are eligible to use the RealScout Pro+ and BoldTrail integration! It allows for the syncing of offices, agents, and contacts from BoldTrail into RealScout while also pushing contact activity from RealScout back into BoldTrail.
Important: This integration is available to brokerages on an Enterprise plan that has set it up company-wide with RealScout. If your company has not set up the integration, it will not be visible or available in your account. For Enterprise leadership, below are details on how to request BoldTrail on RealScout. At this time, the integration is not available for Team or Individual plans.
How to Use BoldTrail on RealScout
Enterprise plan members will see the RealScout Pro+ and BoldTrail integration!
- Locate and click on the INTEGRATION tab on the left sidebar.

Scroll to the section BoldTrail (fka kvCORE) (images to be updated with updated branding soon)

Your office has set up the company-wide integration, and you will see the DEFAULT settings.

The Configuration is set to IMPORT CLIENTS BY TAGS.

The default TAG is RealScout.

Next, on your BoldTrail portal, decide who you will sync onto RealScout. Apply the TAG RealScout to the contacts on BoldTrail.

Lastly, on RealScout, click the BACK FILL CLIENTS button.
Important Tips When Syncing Contacts (Recommended):
Agents should TAG only those contacts within their BoldTrail sphere who have opted in or have requested to receive email alerts from you. -
You'll see your contacts on your CONTACTS tab.
Contact Syncing and Activity to Expect
After having set up the configuration, you'll start seeing your contacts sync to RealScout. Visit your CONTACTS tab on the left sidebar on RealScout.
Contact Syncing:
- Clients from BoldTrail to RealScout When clients are imported from BoldTrail into RealScout, the integration checks if they already exist in the agent’s RealScout account using their BoldTrail ID.

- If the client exists, their information is updated with the latest details from BoldTrail.
- If the client doesn’t exist, a new account is created.
- Clients from RealScout to BoldTrail When a new client is added to RealScout—either manually or using social links—contacts will also be created in BoldTrail.
- Before doing this, RealScout checks if a client with the same email already exists in the agent’s BoldTrail account. If one is found, a new client will not be created.
- New clients added to BoldTrail through RealScout will:
- Be tagged with “RealScout”
- Be set to PRIVATE
- Have a lead status of “PROSPECT”
- Before doing this, RealScout checks if a client with the same email already exists in the agent’s BoldTrail account. If one is found, a new client will not be created.

- Clients imported into RealScout from BoldTrail can only be ACTIVE clients with a lead type of BUYER, SELLER, or RENTER. Excluded are Vendor, Agent, and Archived clients.
- Backfilling Clients By default the Configuration is set to IMPORT CLIENTS BY TAGS. Agents can manually import their existing clients from BoldTrail at any time by clicking the Backfill button on the Integrations page.
- Client Removal Limitations If a client is archived or deleted in BoldTrail, their account will still remain active in RealScout. RealScout does not automatically remove deleted clients.
- Agent & Contact Assignment and Transfer This should match on both systems. Clients will be assigned to the same agent as they are in BoldTrail. If a client get reassigned to a new agent in BoldTrail, the client will be reassigned to the same agent account in RealScout.
Contact activity from RealScout on BoldTrail:
Contact actions made on RealScout will sync to the contact’s timeline in BoldTrail. Please see features below.
- Property Views & Saves When a client views or saves a property in RealScout, that activity is sent to BoldTrail. The property must exist in both systems, and the agent must be assigned to the correct MLS in both.
- In-App Messages When a client messages an agent in RealScout, the message content (and any attached property details) is added as a note in the client’s BoldTrail timeline.
- Agent Notes When an agent adds a note to a client in RealScout, it will appear as a new note in that client’s BoldTrail timeline.
How to Request BoldTrail on RealScout
If you're on an Enterprise plan and are the decision maker for the plan, you may be eligible to integrate BoldTrail with RealScout for company-wide use. This integration allows you to enable the feature for all agents across your offices.

Please Note: An API key will be required to complete the setup. Once set up, all accounts provided to agents will display the Integration for them to configure.
