Using the New Customizable Widgets

Discover our new customizable widgets to enhance your website with flexible features like Simple Search, Advanced Search, Your Listings now with new display filters available, and Office Listings too! Here's how to get started!

SIMPLE SEARCH 

The simple search bar will have color customization options to match the theme of your website.

Step 1: Customize the Widget

1. Visit the Customize and Preview section to adjust the widget's color theme and size.

Step 2: Add the Widget Code to Your Website

1. Copy the search HTML code to Place this code in your head tag.
   Tip: The script tag is only required once, even if embedding multiple widgets.

Step 3: Place this code into the body. This is the code you would place to ensure the widget's look matches your site's customization, if any.

ADVANCED SEARCH 

The advanced search bar will have a Background Color customization option, Beds, Baths, Minimum Price, and Maximum Price fields in addition to the Search bar and steps to apply similar to those in the Simple Search.

      - By Status and Significant Change Date 
      - By Price - Low to High
      - By Price - High to Low
      - By Listing Date - Newest First
      - By Listing Date - Oldest First
      - By Sold Date - Most Recent First
      
   2. Listing Statuses
      - For Sale
      - For Rent
      - In Contract
      - Sold
      - Rented
   3. Property Type
      - Single Family Residence 
      - Multi Family Residence
      - Townhomes and Condos
      - Lots and Land
      - Mobile Homes
      - Other
   4. Price Range (Min/Max)
   5. Listing/Status Change Range (Start to End)
   6. Other Options
      - Include co-listed agent properties
      - Include buyer-represented properties
   7. Select Divider Color

Who can access the new widgets?
The new widgets will be available exclusively to RealScout Pro+ accounts.

What happens to the legacy widgets?
Legacy widgets will continue functioning with no immediate changes or disruptions.

How do I update my website with the new widgets?
To use the new widgets, you'll need to update your website code:

1. Remove the code for the legacy widgets.
2. Replace it with the code for the new widgets.

What if I do not see my listings in the Your Listings section?
Please email us the address for the active listing address you'd like us to attempt to add/display: support@realscout.com. 



How do I revert back to legacy widgets?
Locate the button toward the top right search bar to go back to legacy widgets.
